Mandolin at the Octave.
This instrument is designed as a flat bottom bouzouki.
It measures 90 cm in its greatest length with a tuning fork length of 60 cm.
It is tuned like the violin and the mandolin in fifth to the lower octave of the latter, starting from the treble: E, A, D, G.
This tuning allows violinists and mandolinists to explore other tones than their instrument without problem of adaptation or transposition.
